Yorkie Talkies Outdoors is an outdoor adventure focused business which started life 5 years ago as a walking group run by our lovely Emma. We have evolved and grown over the years, but our ethos of providing affordable, interesting, and fun walks in beautiful countryside for our community of friendly, supportive, and diverse members, remains as strong as ever.
So, if you’ve been with us for a while, but haven’t booked your first walk yet; here’s how it works!
*There is no joining fee – none, nothing, nada!
*There is no commitment – walk with us as often as you desire, we have members who are out every weekend, people who we see a couple of times a year and everyone in between.
*You don’t need to have walking experience to join, we have members of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels. Our shortest walks are in an evening and are 6-7 miles. If you have any worries, contact a member of the leading team and we’ll be happy to advise.
*It’s pay-per-walk for all evening, weekday, and weekend walks plus challenge events. The price includes highly trained and qualified leaders; full insurance; administration costs; staffing costs and the availability of appropriate kit such as storm shelters; comprehensive first aid kits and spare clothing etc.
*We have bundle deals available, if you block book 5 walks, you get one free.
*We have distance-based virtual fitness challenges throughout the year – they are great sources of motivation and YTO merchandise, a medal and sweets are included in the price.

*The main terms and conditions are as follows; full refunds are only available if you give us 7-days’ notice; challenge events cannot be refunded; if we cancel a walk, an alternative walk or refund will be offered; we reserve the right to change the route of a walk, this will usually be livestock or weather dependent.
