I love my time in the outdoors, be it in the sun, rain or snow; I could be out with my dog, with family or friends or leading a group, it’s all precious. Introducing people to the mountains is a hugely enjoyable experience as is helping them develop, both in their skills and their confidence. It’s always fun to be out with a group as they all have different aims, aspirations and hopes which makes it a different experience each time.

I love being out and about in the hills, whether that's exploring the UK or heading further afield. The outdoors has always played a huge role in my life—it's my space to reset, recharge, and feel grounded.

It's a real privilege to combine that passion with work, leading for YTO and helping others experience the joy of the outdoors.

When I’m not out leading or walking, you’ll usually find me running, cycling, or tucked up in a good pub, refuelling after a big day out!

I’m a keen mountain biker, trail runner, and hiker who loves scrambling in the Lake District and Wales. Paddleboarding helps me relax after a tough day.

Sharing the outdoors with my 12-year-old son Josh is a highlight — we love biking and hiking together. Since joining YTO in 2019, I’ve supported many events and am progressing with Outdoor First Aid and Mountain Leader training.

I look forward to helping more people achieve their outdoor goals on our next YTO adventure.

Getting to share those experiences with like-minded people—and help them grow amd develop along the way—is the cherry on top.
