Emma has managed to create such an uplifting and inclusive running community. To me, attending on a Tuesday is a “non negotiable” unless I’m travelling or have a genuine reason not to. I look forward to catching up with the gang, meeting new faces and just zoning out whilst following Emma’s tried and tested routes. I’ve never NOT enjoyed a single run and I’m not a natural runner, the group get me through no matter how high or low I’m feeling when my alarm goes off. Thank you for bringing such an amazing community together

To me running club is....
The best reason to get up on a Tuesday and see some great people doing great things without even knowing it

I started run club with not a lot of confidence or experience running but my first time going, I felt comfortable from the start. The group is like a family and no one is left behind. Emma puts safety first so on all runs, there’s nothing to worry about! It’s not just a run club but it’s a community of friends who all push each other. Couldn’t recommend it more for anyone who’s a beginner to an experienced runner looking for a great bunch to get out with on a morning.

Tuesday morning run club is a great way to start the day. In fact, afterwards I feel like I’m set for the rest of the week. It’s not just about physical health but mental health too. I never want to go but drag myself out knowing that I will always feel great afterwards. It’s a supportive and inclusive group of such hard working individuals all on their own journey.

I love the Tuesday runs! A year ago there's no way I would have been up so early but I really enjoy our early morning runs around York. My distance has improved, my Parkrun times are down and my mental health is so much better. Thanks Emma and the Tuesday group!
