Sunday 21st April  - 9am - Yorkie Talkies Outdoors Navigation Course 

Agenda -

Coffee/tea/pastries and a chat through of the session

Look over the map and plan a walk 

Fun games to get us reading a map 

Practical going out map reading, looking at features, different approaches on navigating 

Learn skills, tips to keep you safe in the outdoors

You will walk between 4 to  8 miles (6km to 13km on the hills) please come prepared with your hill walking kit and a packed lunch.

Location - Lion Inn, Blakey Ridge, York YO62 7LQ

Upon arrival please come into the pub and we have a space reserved, I do ask you arrive 15 minutes early so we can begin on time 

Please ensure you have OS Map OL26 and a compass (receommended is Silva Expedition 4) - can be borrowed but please ask in advance
