The Castle to the Abbey Challenge is an unforgettable coastal adventure following one of the finest sections of the Cleveland Way National Trail, taking you from Scarborough Castle to Whitby Abbey.
Covering approximately 22 miles (35km), this spectacular route showcases dramatic clifftops, hidden bays, woodland paths and breathtaking sea views as you journey north along the Yorkshire coastline. Passing through beautiful locations including Cloughton, Hayburn Wyke, Ravenscar and Robin Hood's Bay, before the final stretch into Whitby, this is a challenge you'll remember for years to come.
The route has been carefully planned by Yorkie Talkies Outdoors to provide a supportive, enjoyable and challenging experience, with experienced guides leading the group throughout the day.
