July Sunday Walk - Striding Edge and Swirral Edge - 9 miles/15km

A guided walk of Helvellyn via Striding Edge and descending via Swirral Edge - 9miles/14km - 3000ft/1200m ascent

This walk does involve a grade 1 scramble and has exposure, Rocky Mountain terrain.

There will be the opportunity to potentially tick off Birkhouse Moor, Dollywaggon and Catseyecam if you are doing the Wainwright’s - this will be decided on the day.

The day is a great opportunity to get yourself introduced to the world of scrambling and see one of the Lake Disticts finest mountains.

Pleae bring kit, packed lunch, snacks and fluids.

Please be ready for 0830am at the car park below (meet outside the public toilets)
