July Ogwen Valley - Wales Weekend Special

YTO Ogwen Valley Wales Weekend Special

The weekend is set in a beautiful part of Wales in the heart of the mountains. The walks will be around 8/10 miles - 13/16km and around 3000ft - 900m of ascent. There will be options to potentially take on Tryfan or Crib Goch or slightly less scrambles but all routes will include rocky, scrambling terrain.

Accomadation is booked the Friday 26th and Saturday 27th July at the below.

Ogwen Valley Bunkhouse, Capel Saron, Tyn Y Maes, Bethesda, Bangor LL57 3LX

Friday Afternoon Paddle boarding session for around two hours, all kit provided.

Friday evening everyone to sort their own meal out, very good facilities to cook at bunkhouse or you can eat out. Saturday we will organise take out pizzas which I will sort before we go.

A good level of fitness is required for this weekend and previous mountain experience is helpful.
