August Walk - Runswick Bay and Staithes

Starting at the pretty cottages and sandy beach of Runswick Bay and on to Staithes, an old harbour with a Victorian history and towered over by the cliffs of Cow Bar Nab & Penny Steel. 

Enjoy quiet lanes, fields and woodland to Staithes and a return journey along a stunning stretch of the North Sea coast.High potential for chips and a pint (or both!) and a bracing paddle in the sea after the walk - 8 miles and 669ft of ascent. 

Please meet at Bank Top Car Park in Runswick Bay TS13 5JF to start walking at 930am. Please bring standard kit, lunch or snacks and hydration.
