About the event
March Friday Walk - Runswick Bay and Staithes - 10miles/16km - 1000ft/300m ascent
Begin your journey at the charming cottages and sandy shores of Runswick Bay, then proceed to Staithes, an ancient harbor rich in Victorian history, overshadowed by the cliffs of Cow Bar Nab and Penny Steel. Delight in the tranquil lanes, fields, and woodlands leading to Staithes, with the return trip offering a breathtaking view of the North Sea coast. There's a great chance to enjoy some chips and a pint (or both!) and perhaps a refreshing dip in the sea after your walk.
Please meet at Bank Top Car Park in Runswick Bay (at the top of the cliff, not the bottom) 0930am
