August Sunday Trail Run - A social trail run from Terrington around the woods - 7miles/11km and 700ft/200m

This is a guided trail run, we have given around two hours for this and do expect people to be able to run but if you are new to the trails this is absolutely fine.

Please meet at 9am at the village hall car park Terrington Village Hall, Mowthorpe Ln, Terrington, York YO60 6PZ

After the run we will go for coffee and cake if you would like join us more than welcome

Kit List - Please read

We will be running on a variety of terrain from forest tracks, hard-packed trails and grassy/muddy trails so trail shoes, are essential– and be prepared to get them muddy!

Jacket preferably waterproof/windproof

Warm hat/gloves

Head torch (if it’s an evening run)

500ml of water (depending on distance and weather)

Snacks/Gels - this is to your preference

Personal medication

Trail pack to carry kit - this is recommended

*Please note the leader will be carrying kit for emergencies and if you are new and wanting to try trail running you can lend a trail pack or not use one for anything 11km and under.

*If the distance is over 11km the above kit is mandatory

Dogs are welcome but they must be on canicross/properly fitted run kit and have ran previously. No dogs will be allowed off the lead!
